Terms of use

GoalRush (PlayGoalRush, playgoalrush.com and the PlayGoalRush app) is a free football prediction game run by Miles Coppard in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using GoalRush you agree to these terms.

GoalRush is free to play. It is a game of skill for bragging rights. It is not a betting or gambling service, and there's no money to win from GoalRush.

GoalRush doesn't take bets or pay out winnings. Any prize or arrangement an organiser makes with their own players is their responsibility and not part of GoalRush.

• •You must be 13 or over to use GoalRush.
• •Use your real email address and keep your sign-in codes and PIN to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• •One account per person. Please don't pretend to be someone else.
• •Pick a display name that's suitable for everyone. We may change or remove names that aren't.

• •Each prediction locks 60 minutes before its match kicks off and can't be changed after that.
• •Points are worked out automatically from the official results. If a result is corrected, or a match is postponed or abandoned, scores may be updated to match.
• •If something goes wrong (for example a technical fault), we'll do what's fair to put it right, and our decision on scoring is final.
• •Gary is GoalRush's own predictor. His picks are made by us and are just for fun.

Anyone can set up a private competition and invite friends. Organisers are responsible for who they invite and for how they run their competition. GoalRush's own competitions (such as GaryGoalRush, Champions League and Europa League) are run by us.

Keep it friendly. Don't post or send anything that:

• •is abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory or harassing;
• •is sexual, violent or otherwise unsuitable for a general audience;
• •is spam, advertising or a scam;
• •shares someone else's personal information;
• •breaks the law or anyone's rights.

We may remove posts, names or accounts that break these rules, without warning. If you see something that breaks them, tell us at hello@playgoalrush.com and we'll look at it quickly.

Donations to support GoalRush are voluntary. They don't buy any extra features, advantage or prize. Payments are handled by Stripe, and you must be 18 or over to make one. If you think a payment was made by mistake, email us within 14 days and we'll sort it out.

Club, competition and player names and badges belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the matches. GoalRush is not connected with or endorsed by any league, competition or club.

We work hard to keep GoalRush running, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change, pause or stop features, and we may update these terms. If we make important changes we'll let you know on GoalRush.

You can stop using GoalRush at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

GoalRush is provided free of charge and "as is". As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law that can't be limited.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
